This recipe helps you make a homemade gingerbread latte, similar to those found in coffee shops, along with instructions for a gingerbread syrup. It's user-friendly and delicious, suitable for anyone regardless of barista experience.
Make Gingerbread Syrup:
In a saucepan, bring gingerbread syrup ingredients (filtered water, monkfruit sweetener, organic molasses, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg) to a boil, stirring occasionally. Make sure sugar has completely dissolved. Turn off heat and let cool. After syrup has cooled, pour syrup into an airtight container. The syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Make the Latte:
Add the coffee and 2 tablespoons of gingerbread syrup to a mug and stir. Set aside. Add the milk of choice and 1 scoop of multi collagen to a frother and froth until done. Pour the frothed milk mixture over the coffee and top with extra cinnamon and enjoy!
